Job Description:

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical and surgical care to our animal patients. This full-time role offers a balance between professional development and personal life, with a work schedule designed to ensure a healthy work/life balance. The role involves working 39 hours a week over 4 days, including a fair share of weekends.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Veterinary degree (DVM, VMD, BVSc, or equivalent)
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the UK
• Strong clinical skills in diagnostics, surgery, and patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and dedicated to animal welfare

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in a small animal practice
• Proficiency with veterinary software systems
• Additional certifications or specializations

Work Schedule:

• Full-time position, working 39 hours a week over 4 days
• Weekend rota: 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 Saturday and Sundays
