We are regularly recruiting vet nurses for pharmaceutical companies to work as a virtual territory manager. Pre Covid this was always head office based, since then it has been opened up to home working which has removed the geographical barrier to entry. Can you be a vet nurse and be home based?. Virtual territory managers work for a specific client and will receive detailed training in order to provide advice and support. You may be covering nutrition, arthritis, weight management, oncology drugs, among many others. Chances are you will then be given an account to manage covering a region or area in the UK . Practices can call and email you with queries, seeking specific product advice as and where required. In addition, you may well be giving product demonstrations online to veterinary surgeons and other vet nurses using the products. Traditionally you needed to be a mobile to be a territory manager, not any more….
