They are a Pets and Family Friendly Practice and will make sure your job coordinates with your private life instead of taking the first place. Their Practice Manager has years of experience in HR and is always keen to help and make everything work, they believe communication is the key.

This friendly practice in North Birmingham are Sustainable and Proudly Independent Vets, opened just 2 years ago, actively growing, developing and expanding. They provide exceptional Veterinary Care and dearly look after their staff members as well as their patients and carers! Due to further Big Plans of Expansion, they are excited to offer the below positions:

1. Full Time Veterinary Surgeon with min of 5/6 years experience. 5 days a week Mon- Friday on Rota 10:30-6:30 or 8:30-4:30; mix of consultations and surgeries, inpatients care, place to expand your interests, case follow ups, £1500 CPD allowance. 1:3 Sat mornings may be required
Salary depends on experience , up to £80k per annum DOE, 6 weeks holidays (incl BH)

2. New or Recent Graduate Veterinary Surgeon – 5 days per week with Saturdays on Rota. variety of cases, surgeries and plenty of support and VetGDP in place. Salary depending on your experience, starts from £35k per annum, 5.6weeks holidays to start with.

3. Part Time Veterinary Surgeon, 3 days a week, as a supporting vet, mix of consultations and surgeries, picking up the overflow/random emergencies, inpatients care. Salary starts at £45k p/a FTE, 17 days of holidays (incl BH). Ideally min 3-5 years experience required and sole charge confident.

4. Weekend and Bank Holidays Only Veterinary Surgeon. To work Saturdays, Sundays & BHs 8:30pm-6:30pm, Must be confident sole charge, emergency appointments from 12pm Saturday onwards. Salary DOE, up to 80k FTE.

5. Night Vet – 7 nights on/ 7 nights off, Starts Fridays (night) until Thursdays (morning), then you have 7 nights off. 5.6 weeks holidays plus CPD allowance £1500. Salary DOE, up to 80k p/a.

6. Saturdays Only Vet – needs to be confident with sole charge, up to 80k p/a FTE

About The Premises:
The Practice has spacious dog and separate cat waiting area, dedicated pharmacy, dog groomers, 3 consultation rooms, staff room/kitchen with large table and reclining sofa, cat and separate dog kennels, spacious prep room separate dental/dirty procedure room with all necessary Dental Machines and Instruments, Sterile Large Theater where we perform not only routines, but also variety of Soft Tissue Procedures, from TECA, BOAS, all Emergency Surgeries as well as Orthopedic Surgeries.
State of the art ProPet70 Sonoscape Ultrasound Machine with all Cardiac Probes and Microconvex, portable good quality ButterFly Ultrasound machine, and New Digital X-ray. They have well equipped Pet Laboratory with Idexx highest standard Hematology Procyte and Biochemistry Machines, Microscopes, they perform lots of scrapes and swabs in house but also work with 2 External Laboratories.
