A great opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and professional team at a well-established veterinary practice in Suffolk. This full-time role involves working 40 hours a week across 5 days, with a 1 in 4 weekend rota. The practice offers a supportive environment with a strong focus on high-quality care and client satisfaction.

Location: Suffolk

Employment Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week (5 days per week, 1 in 4 weekends with TOIL back in the week)

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality veterinary care and treatment to a wide range of animals
  • Deliver excellent customer service and communication to pet owners
  • Support and guide junior team members when needed
  • Participate in out-of-hours services on a 1 in 4 weekend rota basis, with time off in lieu
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
  • Continuously strive to improve professional skills and knowledge

About You:

  • You are a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with RCVS registration
  • You have a passion for animal welfare and a commitment to delivering the best care
  • Strong communication skills, both with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently
  • Experience in a busy clinical environment is desirable but not essential
