Experienced Veterinary Surgeon, Independent Practice in Newcastle Full Time / Part Time
We are working with a friendly, independent practice in Newcastle who are seeking an experienced and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team. The position is full-time (40 hours per week over 4 days), with part-time applicants (2-3 days per week) also being considered.
Team Composition:
- 2 Vets
- 1 RVN Head Nurse
- 2 Full-time RVNs & 1 Part-time RVN
- 1 SVN and 1 VCA
- 2 Receptionists
- Practice Manager
Job Requirements:
- The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a busy small animal practice as well as independently at a branch surgery.
- The role will involve a share of Saturdays on a rota basis, with 1:4 weekends.
- No OOH at the moment, but this may change in the future.
- Certificate holders are also encouraged to apply.

- Ultrasound & X-ray
- Full Idexx In-house Laboratory
- Nurse clinics
- Separate cat and dog wards

Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 08:30 18:30
- Saturday: 09:00 13:00
