Are you ready to take the lead in a thriving practice? GLG Vets is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon in the charming town of Scunthorpe.

Located just a stones throw from the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds, Scunthorpe offers a perfect balance of countryside tranquillity and community living. Whether you enjoy invigorating country walks or peaceful weekends, this is an ideal setting to live and work.

The Practice

This well-equipped practice boasts:

  • Dedicated consult rooms.
  • A double surgical theatre.
  • A fully equipped dental suite.
  • Digital x-ray room and prep area.
  • Separate dog and cat isolation rooms.

You'll be supported by an experienced team of 2 Vets, a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse (HRVN), and a strong Nursing and support team to help you focus on delivering the highest standard of care.

The Role

  • Schedule: 4 weekdays per week and a fair weekend rota, giving you ample time for work-life balance.
  • Leadership: Take the lead in driving clinical excellence, mentoring team members, and contributing to the practices growth.
