Locum Equine Vet wanted
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Locum Equine Vet to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis from October to December. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive veterinary care to the practices clients on an ambulatory basis.
Working hours:
Monday: 08.30 - 18.00
Tuesday: 08.30 - 18.00
Wednesday: 08.30 - 18.30
Thursday: 08.30 - 18.00
Friday: 08.30 - 18.00
Weekends on a rota.
Accommodation a possibility.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough examinations and provide accurate diagnoses for equine patients
Develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of equine conditions and injuries
Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, dental work, and wound care
Communicate effectively with clients, providing education and recommendations for the care and management of their horses
Work closely with support staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in equine medicine and techniques
Qualifications:
RCVS Membership
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in equine practice
