Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Birmingham on an ongoing basis. This position offers a flexible working week of 4-5 days with no out-of-hours or weekend requirements, providing a great work-life balance. The ideal candidate will be confident in both medical and surgical cases, working within a supportive and professional team.

Salary: £400 per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform consultations, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of small animal cases.
- Carry out routine and emergency surgeries as required.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear advice on treatment plans and post-operative care.
- Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure high standards of care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent) with current registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Experience in both small animal medicine and surgery.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to manage a varied caseload.
