Job Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Brighton, East Sussex. Job Title: Night Registered Veterinary Nurse
Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Working Hours: The role will involve triaging and assisting the vet with new emergencies as well as providing continuous care for inpatients and referral cases. We are looking for a nurse who is enthusiastic about emergency and critical care nursing and ideally has some experience in this field (although not necessarily in a sole-charge or out-of-hours capacity). They ideal candidate will a desire to achieve high clinical standards and client care. Exceptional care and communication are at the heart of who we are and how we act with our clients and colleagues alike. Most of all, they should have a team mentality as we are a close-knit, friendly practice.
Salary: Up to £38,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
