Veterinary Surgeon
About Us
This charity is a special organization that provides expert veterinary care for people across the UK who otherwise would not be able to afford to treat their pets. What we do really matters!
Our approach is unique as we combine pragmatism with a strong client care focus to deliver good clinical outcomes - we focus on measuring our impact rather than targets.
About You
We are looking for qualified vets who are up for a challenge and can adapt to the wide variety of cases seen at this charity. Confidence in communicating with a wide range of colleagues and clients is essential, as is a willingness to share your skills and lead by example.
Your passion will drive you to:
- Champion the charity and promote client contributions.
- Always keep an eye on resources, suggesting efficiencies wherever possible.
The work is fast-paced and challenging, so we want you to have the work-life balance that suits your needs as well as enabling us to deliver an outstanding service. Ask us about flexible options!
About the Hospital
Our hospital veterinary teams have varied clinical interests and loads of experience, which means you will have access to a wide pool of knowledge with which to discuss cases and treatment plans.
The size of our teams allows for a flexible approach with no weekends or out-of-hours work required. Core working hours are between 8:30 am and 6:15 pm.
Our Pet Hospitals are modern and well-equipped and include:
- Separate dog and cat kennelling facilities
- In-house radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy
- Piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment
Bradford is the gateway to the Dales & Peak District with picturesque towns like York and Harrogate on your doorstep. Travel is easy with rail and road links to Manchester. Bradford is designated City of Culture in 2025, so it's a great time to join us!
