About the Role:
GLG Vets is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established practice in Coventry, West Midlands. As a key member of a collaborative and friendly team, you will be involved in providing high-quality care for a wide variety of animals, helping to maintain the well-being of pets and providing excellent client service.
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Contract: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £34,000 (pro-rata and DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for sick and injured animals.
- Assist in the preparation and recovery of animals for surgery.
- Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and perform clinical procedures.
- Deliver compassionate care to both patients and their owners.
- Work alongside the veterinary team to ensure smooth daily operations of the practice.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure the practice complies with regulatory and safety standards.
- Participate in various client-facing activities such as consultations and appointments.
Team Structure:
You will be working as part of a well-established and friendly team, consisting of:
- 7 Vets
- 8 Nurses
- 2 Student Nurses
- 1 Veterinary Care Assistant
- 7 Receptionists
- 1 Practice Manager

Qualifications:
- You must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for animal care.
