Registered Veterinary Nurse - Dartford, Kent
This friendly practice in Dartford are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) who values patient care and professional growth to join its award-winning team. This role offers the chance to be fully involved in a wide variety of cases, including Orthopaedics, TPLOs, Fracture Repairs, Complex Medical Cases, Laparoscopic Spays, and more. Whether you are an all-rounder who enjoys different aspects of nursing or prefers a specific area such as surgery, wards, anaesthesia, or intensive care, the practice is committed to fostering personal interests and helping the RVN become the professional they strive to be.
The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art tools, including a CT Scanner (coming soon), Digital X-ray, Dental X-ray, Ultrasound, Laser, Endoscope, Laparoscopic Equipment, in-house lab, Microscope, Multiparameters, syringe drivers, drip pumps, and more providing an excellent environment for advanced nursing practice.
There is significant potential for career progression within the team, including opportunities for Lead or Senior RVN roles, dedicated theatre or wards nursing positions, or even management opportunities in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care across a varied and exciting caseload.
- Be involved in Orthopaedics, TPLOs, Fracture Repairs, Complex Medical Cases, Laparoscopic Spays, and more.
- Contribute to the ongoing professional development of the nursing and support teams through clinical coaching and training.
- Collaborate closely with a team of certificate-holding vets and experienced RVNs.
- Support the practice's commitment to patient care and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience:
- A Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle emergency situations with confidence.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
