This practice is looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their dynamic team. About the Role:
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will provide essential clinical and nursing support to the veterinary team and help ensure the best care for patients. You will be involved in a range of duties, from assisting in surgeries and consultations to providing care for animals in recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and supporting anaesthesia during surgeries and procedures.
- Assisting in routine surgeries, consultations, and diagnostic procedures.
- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients, including post-operative care.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and administering medications as directed.
- Offering advice to clients on animal care, health, and nutrition.
- Supporting the veterinary team and training/supporting nursing students.
About You:
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A registered veterinary nurse qualification with RCVS registration.
- Previous experience working in a small animal practice (newly qualified RVNs are welcome to apply).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A passion for animal welfare and providing excellent patient care.
- A proactive approach to professional development.
