Veterinary Surgeon Wanted
Join our flourishing practice, where you will encounter a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical cases, including lots of dentistry and a small number of exotics. This diverse caseload offers our team numerous opportunities for learning and development.
About Us
Headed by two PG Certificate holders, we are an RCVS accredited training practice. You will be supported by an exceptional, skilled nursing team of 5 RVNs capable of performing Schedule 3 procedures, our Head Nurse who has been with us for 9 years, one of our nurses who first joined us as a student nurse, 4 VCAs, a brilliant team of receptionists, and a Practice Manager who is also our onsite Mental Health First Aider.
Role Details
We offer flexible hours, including the option for a consults-only role. School time hours, fewer days with longer shifts, or other variations based on your needs are also available. There is no out-of-hours (OOH) work, and we maintain a clear diary structure with 15-minute consults as standard.
What We're Looking For
We seek a colleague who has solid GP experience, is a team player with excellent communication skills, and shares our passion for providing the highest level of veterinary care.
Benefits
In addition to a rewarding role in an excellent location, you can expect to receive a competitive salary up to £64,000, no OOH, paid holiday of 5.6 weeks per year pro rata rising to 6.6 weeks after 2 years, paid professional memberships including RCVS, BVA, BSAVA, VDS, ISFM, a dedicated CPD allowance and time off including funding towards certificates, life assurance at 4 x annual salary, a contributory pension scheme, relocation allowance (direct applicants only), and a cycle to work scheme.
