We are a well-established, privately owned small animal practice located in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire.

Location: Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Salary: Starting from £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

As a hospital and training practice, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality care and a supportive environment for our team members. Our busy team currently consists of 13 Vets, 17 RVNs, 4 SVNs, 3 VCAs, and a Hydrotherapist. Our clinic offers a diverse and interesting case load with state-of-the-art facilities, including:

  • Separate hospital and medical wards
  • Theatre suite
  • Dental suite
  • Digital x-ray
  • In-house laboratory
  • Ultrasound
  • Endoscopy
  • Hydrotherapy treadmill

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing the highest standard of veterinary care to patients.
  • Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to manage a busy and varied caseload.
  • Contribute to surgical, inpatient, and general nursing duties.
  • Maintain high standards of patient and client care.
  • Participate in the 1 in 9 OOH (Out of Hours) rota, which provides generous time off in lieu.
  • Support and mentor Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs) within the practice.

Hours

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week based on a 9-week rolling rota.
  • Includes an average of one night shift per week.
