GLG Vets is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving veterinary practice in Basildon, Essex. This position offers a balanced work-life schedule, with a 4-day week and 1 in 4 weekend shifts. You'll be part of a dynamic and supportive team, where your professional growth is a priority.
Veterinary Surgeon - Basildon, Essex
Salary: Up to £70,000 depending on experience
Full-Time: 4-day week, 1 in 4 weekends, 40-hour rota
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality medical and surgical care to a diverse caseload.
- Deliver exceptional client service and build strong relationships with pet owners.
- Collaborate closely with an experienced team of 14 vets and a highly trained nursing team.
- Participate in on-call and weekend rota as part of the 1 in 4 rotation.
About the Team:
This practice boasts a large, well-established team of 14 vets, including surgical and medical certificate holders. Several others are currently pursuing their certificates in cardiology and medicine. You'll also benefit from working alongside a dedicated nursing team, many of whom are schedule 3 and imaging trained, with a number holding postgraduate certificates. The practice is further enhanced by a Hydrotherapist, Physiotherapist, and 12 Client Care Advisers, making it a comprehensive and supportive environment for both staff and clients.
