An independent and friendly small animal practice with multiple branches around the Maidstone area, are looking for a skilled and motivated locum vet to join their team from February. This is a fantastic opportunity for a locum vet to work across all branches, providing a variety of services to their loyal client base.
Key Details:
Location: Various branches around Maidstone
Hours: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
No OOH or weekends required
Rate: Up to £50 per hour
Contract Type: Sole traders and limited company candidates are welcome
Start Date: February 2025

A competent and experienced vet who is comfortable with all routine consults and operations
A valid driving license is essential, as you'll be working across multiple practice locations

Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Kent
Hours: Part-time (30 hours per week, over 3 days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 9am - 12pm)

About the Role:
GLG Vets are proud to be working with a respected veterinary practice in Maidstone, Kent, to find a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity, offering a flexible work schedule with no out-of-hours (OOH) responsibilities and only occasional sole charge.
You'll be working 30 hours a week across three days - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, providing excellent care to pets in the community. There are no OOHs required, allowing for a great work-life balance, and you will have the support of an experienced team.
