GLG Vets is proud to present an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established practice in Devon. This permanent, full-time role offers a fantastic work-life balance, with only four days per week required.
Permanent, Full-Time (4 Days Per Week)
Salary: £65,000 to £90,000 per Annum

About the Role:
As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will take charge of clinical care, working alongside a skilled and friendly team of professionals. Your responsibilities will include managing the practices day-to-day clinical operations, overseeing junior staff, and ensuring the highest standard of care is provided to all patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage clinical cases from start to finish
- Supervise and mentor junior vets and support staff
- Provide excellent client care and communicate effectively with pet owners
- Perform surgeries and consultations as required
- Oversee and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and procedures
About You:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for leadership and clinical excellence
- At least 5 years of experience in small animal practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated to lead by example and support your teams development
