We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated veterinary surgeon to join a friendly practice in Maidstone, that has recently undergone an exciting refurbishment, extension, and rebrand.

The practice is now seeking a surgically experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its supportive and engaged team. The team consists of 3 Vets, 2 Nurses, an SVN, a VCA, and 4 Receptionists. The practice offers an environment, caseload, and equipment that allows team members to fully utilize their skills, while also providing ample opportunities for further development. There is support available for postgraduate qualifications, CPD, and training in areas of interest. The teams vets have diverse specialisms, including ultrasonography, cardiology, feline medicine, and internal medicine.

Conveniently located close to the M20 and main bus routes, the practice is ideally situated for easy commuting. Maidstone, located in the heart of Kents Garden of England, is just over an hour from London and offers easy access to various international airports. The areas beautiful countryside and the vibrant city life of London offer an excellent balance for outdoor adventures and urban exploration. The practice is committed to ensuring all team members maintain a healthy work/life balance.

The practice is looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon with strong surgical and medical skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable consulting with clients, handling a caseload that includes both routine and more complex procedures, and mentoring and supporting junior vets and new graduates.

This is a full-time role, based on a 40-hour weekly rota.
