GLG Vets is excited to partner with a well-established veterinary practice in North London, Greater London, to recruit a Lead Veterinary Surgeon. Salary: £70,000 per annum
Working Hours: 4-day week, with a 1:6 full weekends. Hours: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break.
As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to a diverse range of patients. You will have the opportunity to lead a team of talented veterinary professionals, ensuring the highest clinical standards while also enjoying a manageable work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the veterinary team in providing excellent care to pets and their owners.
- Perform surgeries, diagnostics, and treatments in accordance with the practice's protocols.
- Support and mentor junior vets and support staff.
- Manage a varied caseload while maintaining a high standard of client communication and care.
- Contribute to the practice's continuous improvement through participation in team meetings and clinical discussions.

Candidate Requirements
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with proven experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
- Experience in mentoring or leading a team is advantageous.
