An exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established and friendly veterinary practice in Tamworth, Staffordshire. This practice is looking for a dynamic individual to take on a leadership role, working within a supportive and dedicated team.

Salary: Up to £80,000 + £5,000 Welcome Bonus

Hours: 4 Days a Week + 1 in 3 Saturdays (No Sundays or OOH)

< p>Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 4 Vets and 6 Nurses, ensuring high standards of veterinary care.
  • Oversee the smooth running of the practice alongside 2 Practice Managers.
  • Provide clinical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, offering excellent customer service and expert advice.
  • Handle a varied caseload and perform routine surgeries and consultations.
  • Take part in the practice's on-call rota, which involves 1 in 3 Saturdays (no Sundays or out-of-hours work).
