We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Newton Abbot, Devon on a temporary basis. The position will run from 4th October 2024 to 30th November 2024 and requires a commitment of five days per week. The role involves routine surgeries, general consultations, and delivering exceptional care to our patients.
Location: Newton Abbot, Devon
Contract: Temporary (04/10/2024 to 30/11/2024)
Working Hours: 5 days per week
Shift Times: 08:00 - 18:30
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general consultations and a variety of small animal surgeries.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of small animal conditions.
- Ensure effective communication with clients regarding treatment plans and options.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Keep detailed and accurate medical records for all patients.
Requirements
- MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Previous experience in small animal practice preferred.
- Strong clinical and surgical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
