Job Title: Night Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Derby, Derbyshire
Working Hours: working 38 hours per week involving Mondays â€" Thursdays (19:00 â€" 07:30), Fridays (19:00 â€" 08:30), Saturdays (18:00 â€" 08:30) and Sundays (18:00 â€" 07:30) on a 7 on 14 off rota.
Salary: Up to £75,000 (pro rata)

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
