Job Title: Senior Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester
Working Hours: Full time is 40 hours a week with no OOH and 1:4 weekends consisting of a Saturday only. At Mount Road a collaborative environment is encouraged, with the opportunity to share resources with other local practices and facilitating full continuity of cases. There are sole charge elements to the rota so you must be comfortable with this.
Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
