Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Locum Small Animal Veterinarian to join this friendly, independent team on an ongoing basis starting from 3rd January. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and handle sole charge responsibilities, including consultations and surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct consultations and examinations for small animals
- Perform surgical procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Provide high-quality and compassionate care to all patients
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide them with treatment plans and recommendations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic
- Adhere to all veterinary regulations and protocols
- Keep updated with the latest developments and advancements in the field of veterinary medicine
Requirements:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution
- Valid and current license to practice veterinary medicine
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a small animal veterinarian
- Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills
- Ability to work independently and handle sole charge responsibilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic towards animals and their owners
- Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry developments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
