An opportunity for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a reputable veterinary practice in Hounslow, Greater London. This is a fantastic role for an experienced RVN looking to step into a leadership position, offering the chance to make a real impact in a supportive and progressive practice.

Location: Hounslow, Greater London
Salary: £40,000 per year
Type: Full-time, 40 hours over 5 days, with 1:6 weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a dedicated nursing team, ensuring high standards of clinical care and patient welfare.
  • Assist with surgeries, procedures, and patient care, providing guidance and mentoring to junior nurses and support staff.
  • Maintain effective communication with both clients and team members to ensure the smooth operation of the practice.
  • Ensure compliance with practice protocols and veterinary standards.
  • Take an active role in the practices development and expansion of services, alongside the management team.

About You:

  • You will be a qualified, Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to managing and mentoring a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Experience in a senior nursing role would be an advantage.
