We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established veterinary practice in the heart of Reading, Berkshire.
Head Registered Veterinary Nurse
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Hours: 40 hours per week with a 1:4 weekend rota
Salary: Up to £32,500 per annum
About the Role:
This is a fantastic leadership role where you'll manage and mentor a talented nursing team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. Working in a supportive environment with state-of-the-art facilities, you'll play a key part in the day-to-day running of the practice while maintaining your clinical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and support the nursing team.
- Oversee clinical standards and patient care.
- Participate in clinical duties, including consultations, surgical assistance, and inpatient care.
- Collaborate with the practice leadership team to ensure smooth operations.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with at least 2 years of experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A passion for delivering outstanding veterinary care.
- Previous experience in a senior or head nurse role (preferred but not essential).
