We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-respected veterinary practice in Crewe, Cheshire, seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 DOE
Hours: 40 hours per week, with 1 in 3 weekends commitment
Role Overview:
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care. You'll work closely with a skilled veterinary team, delivering an ideal mix of surgery and consulting. The practice offers a friendly, collaborative environment where you can make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in routine and complex surgeries, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Provide nursing support during consultations and examinations.
- Monitor inpatients, including anesthesia, pain management, and recovery.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed.
- Keep accurate and detailed patient records.
- Educate clients on pet health and preventative care.
- Help maintain the practice's high clinical standards and cleanliness.
About You:
- You are an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, ideally with experience in both surgery and consulting.
- You're compassionate, with a strong desire to provide excellent care for animals.
- You enjoy working as part of a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You're a great communicator, able to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.
- You have a positive attitude and are committed to continuous professional development.
