Job Title: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

Location:Glasgow

Hours: 16-40 Hours per week, Flexible 7-Day Rota

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 DOE

About Us:

We are a modern and well-equipped small animal general practice, opened in 2018 and proudly accredited by the RCVS. Our practice has been awarded silver status by both ISFM (International Society of Feline Medicine) and RWAF (Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund), reflecting our commitment to high standards in feline and rabbit care.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team. You will be part of a supportive team of 5 Vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 4 VCAs, working together to provide the highest level of care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care to small animals. Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide variety of medical and surgical cases. Work collaboratively with our skilled team of nurses and support staff. Engage in continuing professional development (CPD) to stay up-to-date with the latest veterinary practices. Participate in a flexible rota with no out-of-hours (OOHs) or on-call duties, and share weekend shifts with other vets on a rotational basis.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years experience in small animal veterinary practice. A passion for delivering exceptional veterinary care. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Registered with the RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons).
